About the Project

What is STAY?

STAY responds to a growing challenge experienced by young people across Europe: early disengagement from meaningful participation in work, education, volunteering, and civic spaces.

Rather than framing this as a lack of effort or motivation, STAY treats disengagement as a signal — an opportunity to strengthen communication, support, and self-understanding so that young people can thrive.

Through practical tools, youth-centred learning, and inclusive digital design, STAY helps youth workers and organisations recognise early signs of disengagement and support young people to navigate transitions with confidence and agency.
