STAY responds to a growing challenge experienced by young people across Europe: early disengagement from meaningful participation in work, education, volunteering, and civic spaces.
Rather than framing this as a lack of effort or motivation, STAY treats disengagement as a signal — an opportunity to strengthen communication, support, and self-understanding so that young people can thrive.
Through practical tools, youth-centred learning, and inclusive digital design, STAY helps youth workers and organisations recognise early signs of disengagement and support young people to navigate transitions with confidence and agency.
Learn More About STAYAll STAY outputs are designed for flexibility and real-life application across youth work, education, and early employment contexts.
A practice-oriented guide for youth workers and educators. Supports professionals in understanding early signs of disengagement with concrete methods, conversation prompts, and exercises.
